An Opportunity to Make a Real Difference - Package: £85k salary, OTE £100k plus benefits Location: Cambridgeshire

With a strong international reputation for delivering high quality products and customer service, our client is looking for an accomplished Manager to lead the Research and Development Team to understand customers’ needs, research, innovate, develop, introduce, maintain and enhance products through their lifecycle; developing world class solutions. You must be able to clearly demonstrate your ability to work with colleagues to:
  • Build, motivate, sustain and develop a top flight Research and Development Team that delivers in line with the vision
  • Deliver a clear road map to support the 5 year plan
  • Deliver robust programme, project and budgetary management
  • Deliver all aspects of product design and support documentation in line with quality standards and international regulations

This role requires a track record of leading teams to successfully develop new products as well as optimizing/improving existing ones to be best in class, in a mechanical and electronic engineering environment. If you have a BSc, MSc or PhD in Engineering, have excellent analytical, interpersonal and priority management skills and will thrive on the opportunity of making a real difference then please apply. Chartered Engineer status and/or a management qualification would be an advantage.
