  • In support of Norfolk Day 2018 on Friday 27 July we have created our own #15secBiz video summarising what we are all about and why we are proud to make a positive difference to Norfolk's businesses, with our Norfolk-grown corporate coloured vegetables!

    The video will be shown as part of a celebration by the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce at Norwich Cathedral on Norfolk Day 2018, 27 July.

  • It was back in 2009 that US2U Consulting began working with ABC Taxis in Norwich. In those days ABC Taxis had 60 cars and drivers and was looking to grow and develop the service it was delivering to Norwich and the surrounding areas.

    We started by working with the Directors to develop the company vision which is "To be the best, most professional taxi service in Norfolk, delivering an excellent customer service experience by attracting the best drivers and staff. This will make ABC Taxis the preferred choice for customers and third parties."

    Each year since then we have worked to support ABC Taxis by working on strategic, tactical and operational projects. These have included business planning, marketing support, corporate films, recruitment and HR policies and processes. "These days we have over 200 cars and drivers and offices with great staff in Norwich and Broadland. It has been tremendous to work with Rachel and her team to make a sustainable, positive difference to our company" said Simon Callender, Financial Director, ABC Taxis Ltd.

  • boniface-engineering-highway-crash-clearance-event-mallory-park-leicsDemonstrating the diversity of the types of projects within our portfolio, we have recently project managed a new product launch on behalf of one of our clients. In addition to working with the management team to plan the event we have also produced a new product launch template that can be used for subsequent events. The event was a great chance to show off the product range, explain features and benefits of the products and inspire customers to plan their next purchase. Please click picture to enlarge.

  • Back in April 2006 Mike Boniface, Managing Director of Boniface Engineering Ltd, was US2U Consulting's first client. Established in 1982 by Mike, Boniface Engineering has always specialised in the manufacture of vehicle recovery equipment. In the early days all the products were designed and developed by Boniface.

    Miller Industries (USA) acquired Boniface Engineering in 1996; many of the products installed today at Thetford originate from Miller factories in the USA and France. Miller Industries is the world's largest manufacturer of towing and recovery equipment and include the brand names Century, Challenger, Holmes, Eagle, Jige, Boniface, Chevron, Vulcan and Champion.

    In the early years of US2U Consulting the team worked with the management team at Boniface Engineering to progress core processes to develop leadership behaviours, management processes and marketing initiatives which have enabled Boniface to continue to be brand leader in the UK and expand the business in Europe. This involved working at sites in the UK, USA and France.

    Celebrating US2U Consulting's 10th anniversary Mike Boniface said, "Access to the expertise Rachel brought to us provided training to our employees which would have taken years to develop otherwise."

  • TA97.JPG We have been proud to work with ABC Taxis in Norwich this year to support their vision of being the best, most professional taxi service in Norwich, delivering an excellent customer service experience.

    One of the marketing strategies has been to create its Achieving Best Customer Service message, gain city centre presence and support the local community by sponsoring the SOS bus which provides a safe haven for people to attend at times of need.

  • Both Kerwin Blackburn and Lee Casey attended a talk organised by Chadwicks Ltd on Tuesday 18 July at the University of East Anglia's Enterprise Centre, about 'How Millennials are Reshaping our World'.

    The talk covered long-term socio-economic trends and their implications for both businesses and investors and the effects of population change on global labour markets. It also highlighted how Millennials, born between 1980 and 2000, have shifting priorities that require businesses to adapt their products and services.

    The session provided interesting insights into what businesses need to prioritise in order to increase productivity and keep up in the rapidly growing knowledge economy. The three main avenues stressed upon were the importance of education, constructive technology and urbanisation.

    The changing expectations of so called 'Digital Natives' were also discussed, as it is known that Millennials now value interactive and user-friendly digital environments, reflecting the value of having a bespoke US2U Consulting-produced Commercial Video.

  • US2U Consulting has worked alongside Worldwide Fruit to produce a film documenting the growth and supply of avocados, one of the company's expanding product areas.

    The film, titled From Field to Fork, was filmed at a number of locations from Malaga, Spain, to Marble Arch in London, and is being used to increase understanding of the process amongst staff at all stages of the supply chain.

  • US2U Consulting have been working with Jackson & Co, Colchester's leading Estate Agency, on their business planning, marketing and people development.

    As part of this, and to ensure the company stays a step ahead of the competition in this digital age, we have also worked with them to produce a video explaining the various stages of the Lettings process, for the benefit of Tenants and Landlords and to enhance Jackson & Co's online presence.

  • US2U Consulting is building on recent success integrating film into projects by working with Richard Howes, an experienced cameraman and editor.

    Richard has 16 years experience working for the BBC, Channel 4 and Channel 5 and will help US2U Consulting diversify into marketing films to improve communication for our clients both internally and externally.

  • US2U Consulting's Kerwin Blackburn attended a seminar on Wednesday 11 October at King's College London (where he is currently studying for a Master's degree) on the topic of Olfactory Marketing, hosted by the university's Business School.

    Olfaction is a sensory reaction that forms the sense of smell, and the seminar explored how companies may integrate this into the marketing of their products. Key to this discussion, however, was whether olfactory marketing is possible in the absence of any real scent - can imagery and branding 'trick' us into associating a product with a scent?

    If so, evidence suggests that this can have a positive effect on product perceptions - assuming the scent is a pleasant one!

    The seminar also touched upon the importance of ensuring relevant links between product and imagery, as well as the significance of this technique in the continuing digital revolution.

  • A short film giving an overview of how US2U Consulting worked in partnership with a client to successfully project manage one of their 2012 marketing initiatives arising from the strategic business planning review.

  • US2U Consulting have recently enjoyed working with ASAMS Ltdto develop their business strategy and produce the ASAMS Promotional Video.

    ASAMS Ltd are a Metals Testing Laboratory based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk and work with clients from multiple industries with a main focus on oil and gas and renewables.

    The purpose of the video is to enable existing and potential new companies to engage with ASAMS and to understand more about the ASAMS service, culture and unique features and benefits.

    While the video ultimately aims to help them increase their market share, it has already has the effect of motivating and energising the ASAMS team - all of whom feature in the video!

    As well as giving their staff a chance to showcase that ASAMS is a successful, forward-thinking business, the video will also enhance their website by allowing visitors to engage with it in a new, more dynamic dimension. The video will also form the basis of an integrated marketing campaign.

    In addition to producing their promotional video US2U Consulting also assisted ASAMS in developing their company values which promote ASAMS as providing:
